Earlier this month we took a day trip down to Chattanooga.  A former student and friend of ours was getting married and had invited the whole family to come.  So we took them up on it and made a day of it.  The problem was the weather.  It has been incredibly rainy here this spring and summer, and this Saturday was no exception.  What do you do with a 50% chance of rain every day!  So we tried to choose an option that was cheap and indoor.  The Chattanooga Choo Choo was our best bet, and it turned out to be a good decision.  There was enough shelter in the hotel and the train yard for the rain that came.  We sat under the covered walk-way and had a picnic lunch.  We used the hotel bathrooms for a place to change into our wedding attire.  And there was just enough to do for our 2 hour window before the wedding started.  Here are some pics!
